Welcome to the Collier County Right-of-Way mapping project!
The ROW Acquisition group of the Transportation Engineering and Construction department is in need of an integrated software application in order to better support and manage its acquisition and condemnation activities as well as capture and segregate all of the costs of right-of-way acquisition. Right-of-Way is looking for a product that can accommodate the group’s business needs not just in the next couple of years but for the long-term.
This portion of the database is critical for the future cost-estimation of the ROW acquisition and condemnation activities and specifically for the annual road impact fee update. It is anticipated that the database will contain all of the fees and costs, the original appraised values of the properties versus the updated appraised values versus the final settlement costs. The ROW database will allow the automatic population of one time keyed data across over 200 different forms. It is also expected that the database will allow different report capabilities based on pre-selected queries.
This implementation involves the use of CarteGraph’s VersaTools module, which has been customized by Data Transfer Solutions to fit the business processes of the Collier County Right-of-Way Acquisition group. This solution has been tailored to provide a long-term, Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution that can be maintained internally by the Collier County Right-of-Way Acquisition group.
